The games on kwbuilds.me are small and collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no third-party trackers.

字階 (ladder)

• On your device: your progress, streak and settings are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.
• Anonymous play log: to improve the puzzles, each game sends the puzzle number, the words you stepped through, wrong guesses, and whether you finished or quit. It is tied to a random device ID generated in your browser, not to your name or any account. The server also keeps your country (from Cloudflare) and the first 120 characters of your browser's user-agent string.
• Your IP address is not stored in the play log. It is only hashed in memory for rate limiting.

Ghost Beat 鬼拍

It runs in your browser. Scores and settings stay in local storage on your device.

Servers and logs

The site is served through Cloudflare and a small self-hosted server. Both handle ordinary connection data (such as IP address and request path) to deliver pages and block abuse; the server's access logs are kept only for operations and debugging.

Dictionary links

Links such as 「查」 open moedict.tw, a separate site with its own policy.
